Number of credit cards issued in Macao up 2% in Q4 of 2007 - People's Daily Online

The sum figure of recognition card game in circulation in Macau reached 332,556 in the 4th one-fourth of 2007,a two percentage addition over the former quarter, according to statistics released on Monday by the Monetary Authority of Macau (AMCM). The statistics showed that the figure of Pataca cards, Hong Kong Dollar card game and RMB card game in circulation were 260,279, 65, 015 and 7,259 respectively in the 4th one-fourth of last year. Recognition card recognition bounds granted by Banks in Macau reached 5.9 billion patacas (740 million U.S. dollars), while recognition card receivables amounted to 1 billion patacas (125 million U.S. dollars), representing a 10.5 percentage addition over the former quarter, according to the AMCM.　 Source: Xinhua
